I´m a 47 year old female street artist with an adventurous spirt who has a passion for cafe racers. Born in London I moved to the United States to work when I was 21. My personal life story reads a bit like the Eat, Pray, Love book; I was married for fifteen years, a successful business woman but with no children. Four years ago I amicably separated from my husband, sold my mint Honda CB 160 and returned to Europe to be closer to my family.
I moved to the beautiful city of Barcelona, eat lots of amazing foods, made great new friends and encountered my fair share of heartbreaks. It was towards the end of my travels in Vietnam that I met the most amazing man and fell madly in Love. The most obvious difference´s to the book being that I was not looking for any kind of religious awaking, I simply just wanted to ride. I can´t fully explain here how it makes me feel, so lets just put it this way, there is always a massive smile on my face when I´m riding.
In February of 2015, I rode a beaten up Honda Win though Vietnam. My main goal apart from ticking it off my bucket list was, to encourage other women of all ages to JUST GO! Traveling alone in your late 40´s seams to come with a bit of a stigma; regarding the fact you have selected not to stay at home, rise in your career or raise a family. However I was incredibly determined to prove to myself and other women out there that we can do it!. It was my first time backpacking and I was well out of my comfort zone but it was an amazing adventure and I smashed it! Riding harder then most of the young riders I met alone my way, proving your never to old in life for new adventures.

I had planned to blog along the way but found that I was just not set up equipment wise to do so. Since then I have had time to add my journey information here and hope it will be of use to others wanting to take the same kind of mad journey.
I´m now planing to take an extended trip though India with my new biking partner, find myself a Royal Enfield, bike harder and further and of course get a hell of a lot dirtier. It´s a bit of a fairy tale and I have no idea what I am about to get myself into but if it involves bikes, food and open roads, I will be more then happy.

Congrats, on finding your soulmate or riding partner and that you are much happier.
Life is a punch of surprises and what you think you want may not be the one.
I just quit my high tech job to pursue another career and although it sounds interesting I’m not absolute. I rode a motorbike twice in Thailand and love it. Had the fear of hitting something because I’m a beginner. Hopefully, someday I’ll get to ride more. The sense of freedom and the wind blowing at you at all direction is so exhilarating.
